BENEFITS OF THE BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE PROGRAM
Youths are given the opportunity to develop powerful entrepreneurial skills through the learning of strong Business methods and enterprise techniques that will enable them to start up and run a business successfully
Some of the enterprises we currently run programs for include:
- Woodwork and Furniture Making
- Fashion Design and Tailoring
- Food Services and Catering
- Millinery
- Beadwork
- Jewelry Making
- Floral Arrangements
- Printing and Publishing
- Cosmetics Formulation and Manufacturing
- Sound Engineering and Music Production
- Information Technology
Our Enterprise Facilitators are all volunteers who are entrepreneurs and business-minded individuals with money making skills
Enterprise Facilitators must be:
a) Willing to commit time to guide younger individuals
b) Able to relate to youths and express their thoughts extremely well
c) Able to impart knowledge of their entrepreneurial and money-making causes
d) Willing to share good Business Skills and methods
d) Willing to undergo a Sex Offender Background check as well as a mandatory training program to ensure they are equipped for the role, they will be serving
